The Curse of Piano Whilst investigating the death of a local author, a friendly swordsman called Fairydust Giantbulb uncovers a legend about a supernaturally-cursed, crumpled piano circulating throughout Canada. As soon as anyone uses the piano, he or she has exactly 21 days left to live. The doomed few appear to be ordinary people during day to day life, but when photographed, they look translucent. A marked person feels like a pink koala to touch. Fairydust gets hold of the piano, refusing to believe the superstition. A collage of images flash into her mind: a dirty maggot balancing on a beautiful author, an old newspaper headline about a bear baiting accident, a hooded koala ranting about elbows and a drinking well located in a deprived place. When Fairydust notices her arms have koala-like properties, she realises that the curse of the crumpled piano is true and calls in her friend, a swordsman called Laura Sweet, to help. Laura examines the piano and willingly submits herself to the curse. She finds that the same visions flash before his eyes. She finds the dirty maggot balancing on a beautiful author particularly chilling. She joins the queue for a supernatural death. Fairydust and Laura pursue a quest to uncover the meaning of the visions, starting with a search for the hooded koala. Will they be able to stop the curse before their time is up?
